.The MACView®-Ethylene Oxide (EtOx) Analyser is an extreme sensitive ethylene Oxide measurement device suitable for measurement in warehouses, containers and confined spaces to protect human from high concentrations of Ethylene Oxide (EtOx). Levels around 1 ppb resolution can be measured. The system can be extended by adding O2 and CO2 sensors, the possibility of syringe injection, and the Web Based Monitoring software that transferred data fully automatically. No difficult software anymore. A GPRS, UMTS or Ethernet modem is standard included. An external and simple system for easy calibration is optional available for the portable system.

temperature measurement / CAN modules
The CAN module is an Store in house developed amplifier for 8 pc. Temperature PT100/PT1000 probes and optional 2 pc pressure sensors. The CAN module can be installed for 2 CA stores providing for each CA store a maximum of 4  temperature readings  and a pressure reading. The CAN modules are connected with each other via CAT5 or CAT 6 cable and connected to the Auto Store CMS system.

pressure measurement
.Pressure fluctuations in a CA room can cause problems to achieve the target values. Especially underpressure created by defrost & cooling actions or weather changes can affect the oxygen levels inside the CA room. To monitor and evaluate the pressure fluctuations Storex has developed the CAN module with high sensitive pressure measurement. The scale of the measurement has an accuracy of 1 Pa or 0,1 mm watergauge. The data of these measurements are collected on the PLC and send through internet communication into the cloud. Depending on the pressure fluctuations, the settings of the cooling installation needs to be adapted. CA rooms can handle pressure differences between outside and inside atmosphere of -80 upto 80 Pa. Of course this range depends on the configuration of the safety valve. Below a graph of the pressure monitoring during a specific period.
 
NH3 measurement
.As a natural cooling gas , NH3 is very efficient and has a low COP value. This cooling gas can be used directly (DX system) or indirectly (glycol system). NH3 is often used in larger projects because of the high investment of the equipment and installation. In case of a leakage the ammonia has a high impact on the environment. Even low concentrations from 5 ppm can be detected by a human nose and in high concentrations humans can suffer severe injuries. When the gas is used directly, the NH3 can cause damage to the stored fruits inside the CA room . NH3 damage presents it self first with the colouring of the skin of the fruit.  In case of conference pears the skin will turn black. To avoid such disasters Storex has integrated the NH3 into the adsorber software.  Depending on the measurement interval , each room will be measured on oxygen, carbondioxyde and ammonia. In case the treshold of ammonia is exceeded, the system sends an alarm to the operator by SMS and/or email. The operator can start remotely the areation of the specfiic storage room using the fan capacity of the scrubber. By usinig both fans of the scrubber, the ammonia is removed quickly and safely outside the building.  Our CMS, the central measurement system, analyse the gassample, detects the concentrations and sends the result of the measurement to our Autostore Measurement and Control  (AMC) which is located in the switchboard of the scrubber. The AMC decides which actions should be taken on room level. Below the overview of the CMS .
