Using a portable O2/CO2 meter, the user can connect the hose to the gas measuring valve and take gas samples to measure the concentrations of oxygen (O2) and carbon dioxide (CO2) in the CA room. The manually measured values ​​are compared with the measurements of the automatic operating O2/CO2 control to check for proper operation

In addition, the gas measuring tap can also be used to connect the pressure gauge of the Automatic Room Tester (ART) or a micromanometer. This makes it possible to track and monitor pressure fluctuations in the CA space.
The 50 mm test tube with screw cap is provided to connect a hose from the ART meter or a blower for testing the gas tightness of CA cells.
