micro pressure gauge
A micromanometer can be connected to a CA cell for personal observation of pressure fluctuations during cooling operations and to check whether the negative/overpressure remains within set limits.
The micromanometer can also be used to perform a manual leak test using a blower. With the blower, an under or overpressure is created in the cooling cell of e.g. 80 Pa. On the micromanometer, the pressure loss can be determined as a function of time by observation. The measured pressure loss is compared to a graph with target values for maximum pressure loss for (D)CA cells. In this way it can be determined whether the gas density is sufficient or not.
